UPSC Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit:

✔️ Assistant Director: 35 years for General.
✔️ Deputy Commissioner: 50 years for General.
✔️ Deputy Director: 50 years for General.
✔️ Assistant Controller of Mines: 35 years for URs, 45 years for PwBDs.
✔️ Training Officer: 30 years for URs and 35 years for SCs.
✔️ Assistant Professor: 35 years for General.
✔️ Senior Research Officer: 40 years for General.

Educational Qualifications:

Assistant Director (Remote Sensing): M. Tech in Remote Sensing or Geomatics or Geoinformatics with B.Tech in any branch or with B.Sc. in physics or Mathematics or Geography or Agriculture.

Deputy Commissioner (NRM /RFS): Master’s Degree in Agronomy or Agriculture with Agronomy as a subject or Agricultural Chemistry or Soil Science or Agricultural Extension or Agricultural Economics or Agricultural Botany or Master’s Degree in forestry or Botany or Bachelor’s Degree in Agricultural Engineering. Minimum 10 years relevant experience.

Deputy Director (Medical): A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (102 of 1956). Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the said act. 05 years' professional experience.

Assistant Controller of Mines: Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology in Mining Engineering + 03 years experience. (OR) Master of Engineering or Master of Technology in Mining Engineering + 01 year experience.

Training Officer: Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Technology with 02 years post qualification experience in the relevant field of Teaching or Industry (OR) Diploma in Engineering or Technology with 05 years post qualification experience.

Assistant Professor: Master’s Degree with 55 percent marks (or an equivalent grade). Must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) or SET / SLET test or have been awarded a Ph.D. Degree.

Senior Research Officer (Language Medium): Master’s Degree in Linguistics or Hindi with English as a compulsory or elective subject or vice versa. Minimum 05 years relevant experience.

UPSC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process:

The UPSC will conduct the following selection methods for UPSC Advertisement No. 08/2024 Jobs. The minimum suitability levels in interviews, categorized as UR/EWS-50 marks, OBC-45 marks, SC/ST/PwBD-40 marks, out of a total of 100 marks for the interview, will apply regardless of whether selection is based solely on interviews or on a Recruitment Test followed by an interview.

• Candidates (Except Female/SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disability Candidates) must pay Rs. 25/-.

How to Apply UPSC Advertisement No 08/2024:

➢ Eligible candidates must apply online through the UPSC Online Application Portal (upsconline.nic.in) starting from 27th April 2024.

➢ The candidates must upload soft copies of required documents/certifications to support their claims such as Date of Birth, Experience (preferably in prescribed format), Desirable Qualifications, etc. Candidates applying for more than one post should submit separate applications for each post and pay the fee accordingly.

➢ After submitting the Online Recruitment Application (ORA), candidates must print out the final submission. The deadline for online application submission is 16/05/2024, by 23:59 Hours.

➢ The deadline for printing completely submitted online applications is 17th May 2024, by 23:59 Hours.
